Study Commands in Insights
If you have the Study Pack, you can use natural language in Insights to trigger study actions directly. Instead of navigating to a course and tapping buttons, just type what you want. This is a Study Pack feature.
Examples
Generate a quiz:
- “Quiz me on Biology 201”
- “Create a quiz from my Data Structures readings”
Start a cram session:
- “Create a 15-minute cram session for Data Structures”
- “Cram for my Psychology exam”
Get study advice:
- “What should I study first for my exam?”
- “Which readings in Biology 201 haven’t I listened to yet?”
- “What topics am I weakest on in Operating Systems?”
How it works
Insights looks for a combination of a study keyword (quiz, cram, study, review, exam) and a course name in your message. When it detects both, it triggers the appropriate action:
- Quiz requests generate a quiz from that course’s items.
- Cram requests create a study session at your specified duration (or the default if you don’t specify one).
- Study advice queries analyze your course items, listening history, and quiz results to give recommendations.
Requirements
- You need an active Study Pack subscription (Pro+Study or Student tier).
- The course you reference must already exist in your Courses tab.
- Your message needs to include both a study-related word and a recognisable course name.
Tips
- You don’t need exact course names. “Bio 201” will match “Biology 201” and “BIOL 201.”
- If Insights isn’t sure which course you mean, it’ll ask you to clarify.
- Combine with regular Insights queries: “What are the key differences between TCP and UDP in my Networking course?” gives you an answer and knows the context is your course material.
