Briefings

Briefings let you combine multiple articles into a single, cohesive listening session. Instead of hearing each article separately, AI synthesises the key points from all of them into one flowing summary. This is a Pro feature.

Creating a briefing

1. Select 2 or more items from your library (long-press to start selecting, then tap additional items).
2. Tap “Create Briefing” from the action bar that appears.
3. AI processes the selected articles and generates a combined audio summary.

What you get

The briefing isn’t just the summaries stitched together. AI reads across all the selected articles and:

• Identifies the common themes and key takeaways.
• Notes where articles agree, disagree, or offer different perspectives.
• Presents everything in a logical flow, not just article-by-article.

The result is a single audio track that covers the essential points from all your selected sources.

When to use briefings

• Topic catch-up — saved 5 articles about the same news story? Create a briefing to get the full picture in one listen.
• Weekly review — select everything from the past week and get a summary of what you saved.
• Research synthesis — pull together articles from different angles on a subject you’re exploring.

Length

Briefing length depends on how many articles you include and how much content they contain. A briefing from 3-5 average articles typically runs 5-10 minutes.
