Playback Controls

KeepStream gives you full control over audio playback, whether you’re looking at the app or not.

Basic controls

• Play/Pause — tap the play button on any item, the mini-player, or the full player screen.
• Skip forward 30 seconds — jump ahead past intros or sections you don’t need.
• Skip back 15 seconds — go back to catch something you missed.

Speed control

Adjust playback speed from 0.75x to 2x. The speed control is on the full player screen. Your preferred speed is remembered between sessions.

Mini-player

A persistent bar sits at the bottom of the screen whenever audio is playing. It shows the current item title and basic play/pause controls. Tap it to expand the full player with all controls.

Lock screen controls

When audio is playing, standard media controls appear on your lock screen:

• Play/pause
• Skip forward and back
• Track info (title and source)

This works on both iOS and Android with no setup needed.

Bluetooth, CarPlay, and Android Auto

KeepStream works automatically with:

• Bluetooth headphones and speakers — play/pause buttons on your headphones work as expected.
• CarPlay — controls appear on your car’s display.
• Android Auto — same seamless integration.

No pairing or configuration needed beyond your normal Bluetooth/car connection.

Queue

You can queue up multiple items to listen to in sequence. Add items to the queue from the three-dot menu on any item. The player auto-advances to the next track when one finishes.
