Library Basics

Your library is where all your saved content lives. Everything you save — URLs, shared articles, forwarded emails, RSS items — ends up here.

How items are organised

When you save something, AI automatically assigns:

  • A category — one of 15 topics like Technology, Business, Science, Health, etc.
  • Tags — 3-8 descriptive tags based on the content.
  • A summary — a quick overview of the key points.

You can edit categories and tags manually by long-pressing any item and selecting “Edit Tags & Categories.”

Filtering and sorting

Use the filter controls at the top of the library to narrow down what you see:

  • Category — show only items in a specific topic.
  • Tag — filter by any tag.
  • Source type — articles, newsletters, RSS, etc.
  • Sort order — newest first, oldest first, or other options.

Tap the search icon to find items by title or content. Search works across everything in your library.

Archiving items

When you’re done with an article, archive it to keep your library focused on what’s current. You can archive by:

  • Swiping left on an item.
  • Tapping the three-dot menu and selecting “Archive.”

Archived items aren’t deleted — they’re still searchable and accessible from the Archive view. They just don’t clutter your main library.

Smart playlists

Based on your library, KeepStream automatically generates smart playlists like “Unlistened,” “This Week,” and “Getting Stale.” These update as your library changes. Smart playlists are a Pro feature.
