Saving Content

There are four ways to get content into KeepStream. Use whichever fits your workflow — they all end up in the same library.

Paste a URL

The most direct way. Open KeepStream, tap the + button, and paste any article URL. The app fetches the content, extracts the text, and processes it automatically.

Share sheet

This is the fastest way to save something you’re already reading. From Safari, Chrome, or any app with a share button:

  1. Tap the share icon.
  2. Find KeepStream in the share sheet (you may need to scroll or tap “More” the first time).
  3. Tap it. Done.

The article appears in your library within a few seconds.

Email forwarding

Forward newsletters directly to your personal KeepStream email address. You can find it in Profile > Email Ingest. It looks like yourname@in.keepstream.app.

This is especially useful for newsletters. You can set up auto-forwarding rules in Gmail, Outlook, or Apple Mail so your favorite newsletters land in KeepStream automatically. You can also subscribe to newsletters directly using your ingest address.

RSS feeds

Subscribe to RSS feeds from the RSS tab. New articles from your subscribed feeds are automatically added to your library as they’re published.

What happens after you save

Every saved item goes through automatic processing:

  • Content extraction — the article text is pulled from the page.
  • Categorisation — AI assigns it to a topic category (technology, business, science, etc.).
  • Tagging — 3-8 descriptive tags are generated from the content.
  • Summary — a 2-3 paragraph overview is written.

This usually takes under a minute. You’ll see a “Processing” indicator on the item until it’s done.
