Cram Mode
Cram mode turns your course readings into structured, timed audio study sessions. Instead of re-reading articles, you listen to a focused briefing that covers the essential material and tests your understanding. This is a Study Pack feature.
Starting a cram session
- Open a course and tap Cram Mode.
- Choose your session length: 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes.
- The AI builds a structured briefing from your course items and starts playing.
Items flagged as “On the exam” are prioritised. If you don’t have any flagged items, the session draws from all course readings, weighted toward material you haven’t reviewed recently.
Session structure
Every cram session follows a consistent format:
- Introduction — a quick overview of what the session will cover.
- Key concepts — the core ideas from your readings, explained clearly and concisely.
- Connections — how the concepts relate to each other and to broader themes.
- Review questions — questions to test your understanding, including “pause and think” prompts that give you a moment to answer before continuing.
After listening
When the session ends, you’ll see a summary of what was covered. For each section, rate it:
- Got it — you’re confident in this material.
- Needs review — you want to revisit this in future sessions.
Sections marked “Needs review” are weighted more heavily the next time you cram, so each session focuses on your weakest areas.
Tips
- Shorter sessions (5-10 min) work well for daily review. Longer sessions (15-20 min) are better for deeper study before an exam.
- Use cram mode during commutes, walks, or chores to turn dead time into study time.
- Combine with quizzes for a complete study loop: cram to review, quiz to test.
